DEAR GRADE SEVEN PARENTS/GUARDIANS,

Seventh Grade will be operating as a homeschooled class. Once Registered (click here for registration form), Students & Parents are asked to work independently from home. We ask that each household do their best to see that lessons continue each week. We hope that the textbook and activities provided are useful. Seventh Grade is seen as a preparatory year for Confirmation which is received in Eigth Grade. With that in mind, Students are asked to focus not only on the Themes of the Creed and the Sacraments/Prayer, but also to focus on the question found on Page 236 of the Catechism - "Why Am I A Catholic?" By the end of this program, we hope that students can maturely answer that question for themselves. The Appendix Section of Page 236 is an excellent way to begin and end the Academic Year. We ask students to consider starting with that lesson before they begin the rest of the curriculum. The true/false and fill in the blanks after each lesson should be completed and reviewed each week. All of the exercises correlate to the chapter, so the answers are always easily found in the text.
