DEAR GRADE FIVE PARENTS/GUARDIANS,

Fifth Grade will be operating as a homeschooled class. Once Registered (click here for registration form), Students & Parents are asked to work independently from home. We ask that each household do their best to see that lessons continue each week. We hope that the textbook and activities provided are useful. Fifth Grade Parents are asked to help students pay particularly close attention to learning the basic prayers and the basic concepts of the Catholic Faith as explained in the textbook. Fifth Grade will be reviewing basic elements of the Creed (Part I) and skipping ahead to learning about the Sacraments and Prayer (Part III). The true/false and fill in the blanks after each lesson should be completed and reviewed. All of the exercises correlate to the chapter, so the answers are always easily found in the text.

SUNDAY OCTOBER 25, 2020: THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE BEGINS:

Thanksgiving Service Project:

This year our parish will be distributing food for Thanksgiving through St. Martha’s Outreach Program to feed families and enable them to have a special Thanksgiving Day. We ask that you please open your hearts and help us to provide for those in need that we may one day hear the words of Christ, “come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink.” Matthew 25:34-35. Our efforts this year are of particular importance due to the Pandemic which has adversely affected many families and will make the holiday season increasingly difficult.

Please bring all donations to the parish food pantry in the front hallway of Church no later than Sunday November 15th
